Avon Park
has been owned by Mr & Mrs Nethersole since 1988, and is managed and run
jointly by Mr Nethersole and Mrs Haynes, the registered manager. Both
are contactable at any time day or night, if necessary.
Our home is well maintained and furnished to a high but comfortable standard.
The resident’s rooms which, are mainly on the ground floor, all have private
en-suite facilities and BT telephone lines,

The home is a registered home and complies with all
the regulations under the Care Standards Act 2000 and inspectorate body,
the
CQC As a residential home for the elderly, Avon
Park is for residents who are alert, have a degree of mobility, and are
generally able to care for themselves, but may now be finding it difficult
to manage on their own.

Statement of Purpose
Avon Park Residential Home aims to provide the residents
with a warm, relaxed, informal and homely atmosphere, in which their care,
comfort and well-being are of paramount importance. All staff will attempt
to preserve and maintain dignity, privacy and individuality with a caring
atmosphere and in doing so will show sensitivity to the resident changing
needs.
Avon Park Residential Home will promote programmes of activities to encourage,
stimulate and assist residents to meet their full physical and mental
potential, promoting mental awareness and self-esteem.
