Our Dining Room |
Our spacious
and tastefully decorated dining room is situated on the ground floor,
It has a large bay window and patio doors which overlook the front of
the building, with its beautiful gardens, tubs, and hanging baskets. At
Avon Park we pride ourselves on producing freshly cooked appetising meals.
Our experienced cook provides a varied and nutritional menu, using fresh
and locally produced ingredients, whenever possible.

We like to make a meal of a special
occasion, whether it be a birthday, Christmas, Easter or one of our popular
themed dinner parties, the emphasis is on enjoying the meal in convivial
surroundings.
Dining is a social occasion here at Avon Park and most of our residents
elect to join together at mealtimes, however we are always willing to
serve meals in bedrooms or other areas on request. This is a very popular
choice at breakfast time, when most choose to have it served on tray in
their own rooms.
Dinner and Tea menus are generally displayed, on a daily basis in the
dining room.

a variety of menu choices daily and are able to cater for special dietary
needs and requirements. Listed below is a typical menu taken from a weekend
in the summer. More detailed menus are available on request.
