on the South Coast of Hampshire within easy reach of Southampton General
Hospital. It is a modern purpose built residential care home, accommodating
up to 29 elderly residents and is set in landscaped grounds, creating
a secluded and peaceful setting, in which to relax.
Park Gate is a popular residential area, which lies between
Locks Heath, Warsash and Titchfield. The appeal of this area is easy to
understand. The area is a major centre for watersports enthusiasts. The
river Hamble and the seaside resort of Lee on the Solent are both nearby.
Walks through nature reserves and along the river bank and visits to the
seaside are all within easy reach

the care and support we deliver to our elderly residents is unique and
person centred.
Avon Park Rest Home believes that Residential care is suitable for those
who are finding it difficult to cope at home by themselves or for those
who are cared for at home but may require more help than their carer
is able to provide.
Residential care provides residents with accommodation, meals and personal
care. Personal care includes help with everyday routines such as bathing
and dressing.
Residential care also facilitates the social aspects of life for the
Residents as they are able to enjoy the company of others and take part
in activities and social events organised by the home.
Medical Care
Avon Park Care Home creates a detailed Personal Care
Plan to cater for a Resident's medical needs on entry to the home.
Avon Park Care Home is fortunate to have several good local surgeries
and we are a short distance from Southampton General, Hosptial.
Avon Park Care Home also have the support of:-

NHS Direct Hampshire & Isle of Wight Ambulance Services, which is based
in Hedge End, also close Southampton General Hospital.

Avon Park Rest Home provides day care for non-residents
living in the surrounding areas.
Avon Park Residential Care Home believes day care services are ideal
for people who are finding it difficult living at home and also for
carers to organise a break for their loved one. Knowing that they will
be well cared for.
Day care can be arranged for every day of the week or just once a week,
depending on your requirements.
